OCVJC’s Goal for ambassador Program

Becoming an ambassador for Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center (OCVJC) will be challenging and rewarding. As an ambassador you are expected to conduct yourself according to the highest ethical and legal standards. By this, we mean that you must adhere to all the laws and rules which apply to OCVJC, as well as conduct yourself in a manner befitting the position you now hold.

Our ambassador guidelines may not have all the answers for all the situations you may encounter. They will provide you with a base of understanding of OCVJC 's mission and direction. Beyond that, if issues or questions arise about the guidelines, you are encouraged to discuss them with the OCVJC volunteer director, your ambassador president, or one of their designees.

It is important that you understand and abide by these guidelines. Failure to adhere to the rules of conduct can and will result in dismissal from OCVJC. Such failure may also result in civil and/or criminal penalties as prescribed by applicable federal, state, and local law. This mutual understanding of expectations will enhance your ability to contribute and will lay the foundation for open and candid communications.

OCVJC’s Mission Statement
