Welcome Bobcats!!
Welcome OU Prospect Students!! Thank you for being part of such an amazing cause. The Ambassador Program for Ohio Crime Victim Justice Center (OCVJC) is called ViRA, which stands for Victims’ Rights Ambassadors. This program will support victims and provide them with resources to assist them throughout the criminal justice process. Ambassadors will hold meeting, create fundraisers, and plan outreach events on campus. The fundraising events will benefit victims on campuses, the ambassador program’s necessities, help buy items for outreach events, and give back to OCVJC. We are very excited to educate victims of crime on our campus about their rights throughout the criminal justice process. If you are interested in joining ViRA on OSU’s campus, please follow the link here to find our application.

Hi, my name is Cheyenne Knavel. I am a junior in the Ohio University Honors Tutorial College as a Political Science major, with a certficate in Law, Justice, and Culture. I am passionate about being an advocate for those who feel that their voices cannot be heard. I strongly believe in the importance of victims’ rights advocacy and hope to spread awareness of this cause on OU’s campus. In addition to being an advocate, I also love to read and am an Associate Justice on the Student Senate Judicial Panel.
